The image data are obtained from thin section under polarizing microscope through video camera troughout a frame grabber card. The data have been collected for the isotropic (Garnet), anisotropic non pleochroic (Quartz), and anistropic pleochroic (Biotit) minerals, during paralel-and cross-nicol observation. Using the image processing technique, color analysis can be done in a quantitative method, that’s why optical characteristic and physical phenomena of minerals can be explained more clearly. The end result of this study gives a promises method for mineral identification using digital image processing technique.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Anisotropic,Color analysis,Cross-nicol methods,Digital images,Isotropic,Parallel-nicol methods,Pleochroic minerals,Polarizing microscopes[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Anisotropic,Colour analysis,Cross-nicol method,Digital images,Isotropic,Paralel-nicol method,Pleochroic minerals,Polarizing microscope[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
