We show that an extremal point of Ms(x) can be written as the average between an extremal point of M(x) {colon equals} {A ∈ Rn×n:A ≥ 0, Ae = x, Ate = x} and its transpose. We then use this to characterize the vectors x that maximize the number of extremal points of Ms(x).
