The punch board highwall mining system is introduced in the coal mines in Indonesia as it is the best and most effective mining system for the coal mine conditions. Safe mining system in highwall mining helps in improving high mining operations. The punch longwall mining system for open cut mining helps in coal recovery and in understanding of the underground mining in Indonesia but due to high cost associated with it and the geological conditions makes its introduction unfeasible.
