By the selection of appropriate choice of the required surface resistors based on elementary circuit principles the return loss of absorber can be significantly improved. The properties of absorber are numerically characterized under normal incident using a parallel plate waveguide (PPW) simulator. It is demonstrated for this arrangement 27.09dB at 3.14GHz reflection loss can be obtained with an effective working bandwidth of up to 10% at 10dB reflection loss. In addition it is shown that the bandwidth is insensitive to the small different values of resistive-element. ©2009 IEEE.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Elementary circuits,High-impedance surfaces,Microwave radars,Parallel plate waveguide,Radar absorber,Reflection loss,Resistive-elements,Return loss,Surface resistors,Textured surface,Ultra-thin[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Radar absorber,Resistive-elements,Square patch,Surfaces resistors,Textured surface[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/APMC.2009.5385251[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
