The preparation method, chemical composition, luminescent properties and emission mechanisms, as well as current trends in BCNO phosphors are reviewed. The novel BCNO phosphors were synthesized from inexpensive and environmentally friendly raw materials by a straightforward route using liquid precursors at low temperatures under atmospheric pressure. The newly developed BCNO phosphors demonstrated tunable color emission, high quantum efficiency, and long-duration afterglow. The color emission of these phosphors can be tuned across almost the entire visible light spectrum by varying the molar ratios of the raw materials. © 2011 The Royal Society of Chemistry.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Chemical compositions,Color emission,Current trends,Emission mechanism,Environmentally-friendly,Facile synthesis,High quantum efficiency,Liquid precursors,Low temperatures,Luminescent property,Molar ratio,Oxynitrides,Preparation method,Tunable color,Visible light[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1039/c0jm02215b[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
