Most of the country has no qualified infrastructure to allow the migration from analog TV to digital. In addition, DVB-T receivers device are mostly static devices such as home television. Users who are mobile or frequently spend time on the road cannot enjoy digital television services. To provide a mobile digital television services, a new platform that combines the features of digital television and unicast transmission feature must be built. In this research we develop content server which can manipulate the DVB broadcasts. Then the content is passed to the re-stream computer in which it connects the DVB and the Ethernet technology. This system is able to perform trans-coding work to customize the content so it can be received and played back on mobile android smart phone. Designed DVB Server is able to broadcast content using the DVB modulator board DTA-110 and DTA-115. A re-stream computer using VLC application that can trans-code up to 3 channels are also successfully built. These servers can also provide interactive services in the form of polling. © 2012 IEEE.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Content servers,Digital Broadcasting,Digital dividend,Digital television services,Digital TV,DVB-T receivers,Ethernet technology,Hybrid network,Interactive applications,Interactive services,Mobile broadband,Mobile TV,Switchover,Unicast,Unicast transmissions[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Digital dividend, digital switchover, digital TV,mobile broadband, spectrum valuation[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/TSSA.2012.6366066[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
