Unified aerodynamic-acoustic formulation for aero-acoustic structure coupling

Abstract
As a follow-up on the author’s work on coupled BE/FE Method and modeling of structuralacoustic interaction, the present work utilizes BE formulation for both the acoustic and aerodynamic problem. For this purpose the unsteady aerodynamic problem which was earlier utilizes well-established lifting surface method is reformulated using BE approach. This scheme is presently outlined and worked out in the general framework of acousto-aeroelastic stability problem developed previously.
