In other respects, two types of boundary conditions have been tested: (1) specifying elevation at all boundaries; and (2) implementing a combination of elevation and velocity at the boundaries. Performance of the model results has been quantified in terms of mean absolute errors, root-mean square errors, and correlation coefficients based on the availability of water level and current data. The general agreement between simulated and observed values of water elevation and currents is encouraging. Errors in computed water levels are less than 5 % of the local tidal range, and correlations between the data and model exceed 0.95. Meanwhile, errors and correlations for simulated currents are less than 22 % and are about 0.75, respectively. © 2012 JASNAOE.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Benoa Bay,Correlation coefficient,ECOM,Root-mean square errors,Three-dimensional hydrodynamic models[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]A three-dimensional hydrodynamic model,Benoa Bay,Correlation coefficient,ECOM,Root-mean square error[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1007/s00773-012-0195-9[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
