This signal is generated by the function generator whose output is amplified by a power amplifier. Alternating current (AC) output of the power amplifier can be varied from 0.10 A – 0.45 A at frequency of 5 kHz. To generate AC magnetic field, the output of the power amplifier is then connected to the solenoid coil with ferrite core which has 130 turns of wire and diameter of 3 cm. The AC magnetic field was detected by a fluxgate sensor with high sensitivity (568 mV/ìT or 1.76 nT/mV). In order to work at higher frequencies, the excitation and phase-frequency detector is adjusted in the electronic circuit of the fluxgate sensor. The signal processing circuits of the fluxgate sensor utilize the 2nd-order of Butterworth filter with cut-off frequency of 10.6 kHz. By this method, the fluxgate sensor can detect frequency of AC magnetic field up to 10 kHz. The output voltage of this sensor has a maximum measurement range of 0.23- 2.95 V at 5 kHz. The results indicate the effectiveness of the fluxgate sensor in detecting AC magnetic field emitted by magnetic material embedded in soil subsurface. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]AC magnetic fields,Alternating current,Controlled source electromagnetic (CSEM),Electromagnetic methods,Fluxgate sensor,Higher frequencies,Phase frequency detectors,Signal processing circuits[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]AC magnetic field,Electromagnetic method,Fluxgate sensor,Magnetic material[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.4028/www.scientific.net/AMR.896.718[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
