However, only several of them have implemented a modern business system. Most of creative industries were managed traditionally by family members. They employ creative people to produce unique products and services. Therefore, business performances of creative industries highly depend on capability of their people. The lack of ability to manage the business has made many Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) of creative industries in Bandung hard to grow and to be a mature business. The potential SME’s of creative industries would have better performances if they are supported by a business system that adaptable and reconfigurable, so this business system can fit in to the characteristics of creative industries SME’s.A literature study was conducted to find a suitable model of business system for creative industries. There were found twenty nine (29) variables that relate to the requirement of business system for SME of creative industries. Thirty six (36) SME’s of creative industries were observed to identify the requirement of their business system. A questionnaire was constructed and distributed to identify the business system required. All variables were computed and analyzed by using cross tabulation of SPSS to identify required business system for creative industries. As a result, twenty one (21) variables were found statistically significant influence the characteristics of business system for creative industries in Bandung. These twenty one variables are grouped in to five categories, as modules. They are legal aspect, finance, production, personnel and quality assurance.
