This paper explains the behaviour of LTE network in a situation, where the service is being provided by HAP and eNodeB in a disaster scenario. In the disaster scenario, a set of adjacent eNodeB in the middle of Bandung city has been disabled. A HAP station has been launched to the disaster location to provide LTE services. The possible effects between HAP and the terrestrial LTE network are assessed by analyzing the simulation results in the normal state, the moment the disaster occurs, and after HAP deployment. The results show that HAP is able to restore the throughput to the level of 92% from the original condition. However, careful HAP configuration and design is required so the communication system would not be lost due to severe interference between terrestrial system and HAP[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Disaster mitigation,Disaster scenario,High altitude platform,LTE Networks,Normal state,Terrestrial systems[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]disaster,HAP,LTE[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/TSSA.2014.7065950[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
