By doing so, the executive is expected to make a right decision which will increase the performance of organization. To support executive in this decision-making activity, a summary report which is obtainable through the Executive Information System (EIS) can be used. In its usage, the EIS can be integrated with old information system. The purpose of this integration is to see EIS and old information system as a whole system. There are two kinds of methods to build EIS, namely build with using tools and build without using tools. To build EIS using tools or not, there are weakness of each method. The integration between old information system and EIS is hard to achieve when EIS is built using tools. It is caused by the fixed nature of used tools, such as template, which makes the EIS as a result of tools is hard to customized. This problem can be solved when we build and customize EIS by ourself, although the building process is hard and take a long time. In this paper we would like to present an Application Program Interface (API) to build EIS using data warehouse. This API is expected to help building EIS in various programming language to support the integration with old information system. By using the functionality of this API, any EIS developers can be helped to build EIS from the scratch. The challenge of this approach is how to identify EIS general function and workflow so that can be wrapped by API.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]API,Application program interfaces,Building process,Executive information systems,General functions,Multidimensional data[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]API,data warehouse,Executive Information System, multidimensional data[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/ICODSE.2014.7062489[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
