The reconfigurable beam and polarization characteristic can be generated by controlling the phase of antenna radiation pattern caused by inserting capacitor on its feeding line. Here, a square patch antenna is applied with double-feeding method in vertical and horizontal directions to obtain dual polarization and phase difference of 90°. The simulation results show that the antenna with a capacitor inserted at one branch of feeding lines has reflection coefficient (S11) value less than-10dB at frequency of 2.42GHz. The used capacitance value is varied by 1pF, 3pF and 10pF for achieving beam direction change and polarization. In addition, the effect of varied capacitance value used for obtaining reconfigurable beam and polarization is discussed further.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Capacitance values,Chip capacitor,Dual-polarizations,Polarization characteristics,Reconfigurable,Square patch antenna,Wireless local area network applications,WLAN applications[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Chip capacitor, reconfigurable beam and polarization, square patch antenna[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/ISPACS.2015.7432822[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
