We present a proof for the number of equilibria in the unperturbed system at some parts of the parameter space. The perturbed system is a dynamical system defined by a periodic vector field. We present an alternative proof for a classical result on the period of the periodic solution. By using a numerical continuation method AUTO (Doedel et al., 1986 [9]), we present a bifurcation analysis for periodic solution of the perturbed system where we found fold, cusp and Swallowtail bifurcations.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Bifurcation analysis,Non-monotonic response,Nonautonomous differential equation,Numerical continuation methods,Periodic perturbation,Periodic solution,Perturbed systems,Unperturbed systems[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Bifurcation of periodic solution,Non-autonomous differential equations,Predator–prey,Swallowtail bifurcations[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]We like to thank the anonymous referees for their comments which have help in improving the paper.
