The eye dose can be estimated directly using the exponential relationships between the normalized organ dose and the average of local and global water-equivalent diameter (WED) with appropriate A and B coefficients. The eye dose estimation was carried out on fourteen patients who underwent CT examinations. The exponential relationships have R2 values of 0.79 and 0.70 for local and global WED respectively.
