The effects of solution and process parameters were investigated. It was found that polymer solution concentration and temperature were crucial parameters to obtain homogeneous coating. High hydrophobicity could be achieved by controlling the polymer solution concentration and drying temperature. Using methyl ethyl ketone as nonsolvent, the membrane surface roughness was increased, resulting in superhydrophobicity with high contact angle of 151.3°. The modified membrane still exhibited lower flux than unmodified membrane in water–oil separation due to porosity decrease. However, their water rejections were comparable.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Dip coating,Homogeneous coatings,Methyl ethyl ketones,Oil separation,Polypropylene hollow fiber membrane,Polypropylene membrane,Solution concentration,Superhydrophobic[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Dip coating, membrane, polypropylene, superhydrophobic, water–oil separation[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1080/03602559.2016.1185666[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
