The time-stamped force-bias Monte Carlo (tfMC) method was used from taking care of the bond switching (BS) rate due to the concentration of carbon atoms in the nickel catalyst. It was found that the hybrid MD/MC method promotes the nickel carbide system to vibrational bond switching. This study also revealed that carbon atoms in metal catalyst are not spread randomly but rather prefer to gather in groups. This phenomenon is not caused by the BS rate only, but also by cohesive-adhesive competition between carbon and nickel atoms.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Bond switching,Graphene growth,Hybrid Monte Carlo,Metal catalyst,Molecular dynamics methods,Nickel atoms,Nickel carbide,Nickel catalyst[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Graphene,Hybrid Monte Carlo and molecular dynamics methods,Nickel carbide,PECVD[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1088/2053-1591/aa5a96[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
