Memory, hope, and sense—design as generator (DAG) premises for empowering community

The methodology was a combination of Participatory Action Research (PAR) and Design Thinking (DT), in which took the form of implementation in mixed methods research sequential embedded experimental model. In DAG current action-design-research activities at Kampong Pondok Pucung, Southern Tangerang municipal, Banten, West Java, Indonesia—a remaining traditional settlement in urban context surrounded by the mega modern real estate, the researcher found premises that consistently emerged within the targeted community: memory, hope, and sense.
