The 150 kV compact transmission line is constructed by reusing existing right of way, occupied by existing distribution lines. The 150 kV compact transmission line is designed by mutual utilization of the 150 kV transmission line with 20 kV distribution line. The consideration of the dimension of 150 kV compact transmission line is as follows. The height of 20 kV distribution line ranges 9-12 m. By the addition of 3 m for the height and 2 m for width of the phase to phase, the distribution line may be update to 150 kV compact transmission line. The tower structure was based on the 150 kV transmission tower. The insulator used for 150 kV compact transmission line is line post insulator type with 650 kV BIL for transmission line and 95 kV BIL for distribution line. The insulator is suitable for the compact transmission line because the size is small and it may be installed vertically and horizontally. The magnetic field on the observation points caused by the compact transmission line was calculated by using Ampere Law. The highest magnetic field density around the 150 kV compact transmission line is 8.25 micro Tesla. It fulfills WHO standard which states that the magnetic field density must be less than 100 micro Tesla for the community living around the transmission line.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]150 kv transmissions,Compact transmission lines,Distribution lines,Magnetic field analysiss,Magnetic field density,Observation point,Right of way,Tower structures[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Compact transmission line,Magnetic field,Right of way,Standard[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/ICHVEPS.2017.8225904[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
