The base transceiver station communication devices of the platform consists of Raspberry Pi, Wi-Fi dongle, 4W amplifier and single element patch antenna as radiator. All communication devices will be packed by a container to be placed in a balloon. The balloon is designed to lift the load so that it is at an altitude of about 70 meters for the experiment. At this stage of our research, the system testing was done by placing the communication devices at the 4th floor of Labtek 8 building and measuring the received signal at surrounding places. From the measurement results, the maximum range of the ‘flying platform’ coverage is about 300 meters with received signal level of -70 dBm.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Base transceiver station,Communication device,Design and Development,Economically viable,Flying platforms,HAPS,Raspberry pi,Telecommunication infrastructures[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Balloon,BTS,flying platform,HAPS,Raspberry Pi,SPF[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/TSSA.2017.8272902[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
