The experiments were performed using humic acid (HA) as an adsorbate at concentration in the range of 50-200 mg/L. Pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order, and intra-particle diffusion models were used to describe the kinetic data and the rate constants were evaluated. It was observed that the amount of humic acid removed decrease with increasing concentration. The kinetic study revealed that pseudo-second order model fitted well the kinetic data, while the external diffusion or boundary layer diffusion was the main rate determining step in the removal process.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Boundary layer diffusions,Composite nanofibers,Intra-particle diffusion,Kinetics studies,Pseudo second order,Pseudo-first-order,Pseudo-second order model,Rate determining step[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]The authors are very grateful to Research, Technology and Higher Education Ministry Republic of Indonesia for their financial support through Riset Unggulan Perguruan Tinggi 2016/2017.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1088/1742-6596/1013/1/012202[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
