The subduction zone is formed from the collision between the Australian plate and the Eurasian plate. Sumatera subduction zone produces tsunamigenic earthquake. In addition, the tsunami event causes negative impacts such as fatalities, property loss, and damage. These impacts can be reduced by performing a disaster risk reduction program through strengthening disaster resilience. Therefore, it is important to measure disaster resilience in Mentawai island. The purpose of this research is to measure disaster resilience using the methodology based on Community Disaster Resilience Index (CDRI), developed by Joseph Stephen Mayunga in Mentawai Island. This method has been modified and adapted to Mentawai Island condition. The indicators of measurement are developed based on disaster phases’ activities (mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery) and community capitals (social, economic, physical, and human). The results denote that Sipora Utara Sub-district is the most resilient, whereas Siberut Barat Sub-district is the least resilient.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]CDRI,Coastal Community,Disaster Resilience,Mentawai[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1063/1.5047365[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
