Pseudomonas aeruginosa was used in the present study to biotransform the pretreatment biodiesel waste into biosurfactant. Biodiesel waste originally contains a number of complex compounds that need to be fragmented into simple ones before used as the substrate for the biotransformation. Pretreatment of the biodiesel waste by ozonation has been chosen in this study due to its simple and fast process. Based on the biosurfactant production yield, the optimum time for the ozonation pretreatment was about 30 minutes. Biosurfactant produced from biotransformation of the pretreatment biodiesel waste by P. aeruginosa was able to reduce IFT of water-oil layer up to 99.09% and the surface tension of pure water up to 27.71 %. These results are close to the biosurfactant criteria for the petroleum recovery.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Authors are grateful for the financial support provided by Hibah publikasi internasional terindeks untuk tugas akhir mahasiswa (pitta) through Universitas Indonesia and research facilities provided by Univesitas Indonesia (2477/un2.r3.1/hkp.05.00/2018).[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1063/1.5095032[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
