Some techniques frequently applied for tomography covers backprojection, Algebraic Reconstruction Technique (ART), and backpropagation. In this paper, frequency selection and image reconstruction techniques for tomography are investigated using parallel-beam projection at microwave frequency. The use of some microwave frequencies of 1.5GHz, 3GHz, and 4.5GHz is intended to determine the characteristics and effect of selected frequency in producing the reconstructed image. A perforated wood is used as a target which is represented by a wood of tree trunk for object measurement. Here, the filtered backprojection and backpropagation techniques are implemented for reconstructing the image of measured object. From the result, it shows that the reconstructed image using backpropagation technique at the frequency of 3GHz has better image quality compared to the ones using filtered backprojection technique.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Algebraic reconstruction techniques,Back-projection,Backpropagation techniques,Filtered back-projection,Frequency selection,Image reconstruction techniques,Parallel beams,Reconstructed image[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]backprojection,backpropagation,image reconstruction,parallel-beam projection,tomography[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/TSSA.2018.8708783[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
