Despite that, it also poses stability problems for power system network. Strategies for Non-synchronous generation (NSG) to behave like synchronous generation could be one of several solutions made. This paper presented a model of Virtual Synchronous Machine (VSM) converter which is controlled by power electronic based approach. Simple 2 machines system chosen as the base study for frequency and transient stability. The study conducted using DIgSILENT Power Factory software to simulate the system response when 150 ms short circuit event and load event implementation. Parameter identification with least square method also presented to obtain better parameter of VSM. Better active power and frequency response during load change and short circuit event while VSM operates improved the system’s frequency and transient stability.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Converter controllers,DigSILENT power factories,Environment friendly,Least square methods,Load change,Power system networks,Synchronous machine,System response[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Load change,Short circuit,Stability,System response,Virtual Synchronous Machine[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/ICPERE.2018.8739737[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
