Partial Discharge (PD) measurement is one of the most effective method for monitoring isolation conditions of a high voltage equipment. PD emits various kinds of energy that can be detected by various sensors. The UHF sensor method is one of the most sensitive one compared to the other sensor methods because this method is in accordance with in-service monitoring that used at the substation. In this study an investigation will be conducted to know the best placement of UHF sensor in order to get optimal partial discharge wave detection results. The research was carried out by GIS and PD sources modelling in the MagnaTDM software and use IgorPro software to process the result. Partial discharge diagnosis simulation is done by placing sensors circumferentially on the GIS so that it can be determine the exact position of the sensor to obtain an optimal PD wave.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Circumferential,Discharge diagnosis,High-voltage equipments,In-service monitoring,Normal condition,Partial discharge measurements,UHF sensor,Wave detection[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Circumferential,GIS,Partial Discharge,UHF[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/ICPERE.2018.8739747[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
