The governing equation is shallow water equation. We solve the governing equation analytically to obtain the value of natural resonant period of the basin, which causes resonance phenomena. The analytical results were compared to the experimental results to see how good our model is. The equation will also be solved numerically using finite volume on a staggered grid method.
