Those fault may causing a bigger deviation of position and orientation. This paper proposed a control system that could still handle the actuator faults. The fault condition is defined as death of some actuators, where the vessel is equipped with 4 azimuth thrusters. The control allocation use a lagrangian multiplier technique, the matrices on the algorithm is modified based on the number of working actuator. The hypothesis saying they may some control performance degradation compared to the full actuated condition. Based on the simulation and experimental result, it shows the controller can still compensate the vessel position and heading error up to 2 actuator fault with the RMS error is significantly decrease on yaw motion compared to full actuated condition.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Actuator fault,Azimuth thrusters,Control allocation,Control performance,Dynamic positioning systems,Fault conditions,Lagrangian multipliers,Position and orientations[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Actuator fault,Lagrangian Multiplier,Sliding Mode Control[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/ICSEngT.2019.8906496[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
