NDN as part of the Information-Centric Network, the IETF initiative Research Group, has a paradigm that shifts from conventional internet networks and provides fundamental changes in the implementation of data communication on the internet. Scalability is the ability in the network to overcome problems that arise as more and more entities on the internet. The high intensity of network load with a large number of nodes and content induces a tremendous burden on the internet mechanism. To cope with these NDN mechanisms should be efficient so that with the rapid growth of the network, NDN network performance should not be sacrificed. This paper gives elaboration for NDN research to overcome the scalability issues of the NDN network and brief some challenges for future research.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Content,Data network,Data-communication,Fundamental changes,Information Centric Networks,Named data networks,Routing,Scalability problems[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Content,Mobility,Name data network,Routing,Scalability[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]In this work, we presented an overview of NDN scalability problem and alternative solution have been made so far related to NDN enhancement for the IP network. We also give some elaboration of the techniques for scalability solution. For our future work, we plan to proposed solution for NDN scalability with comprehensive tracking techniques ACKNOWLEDGMENT This work was supported by Telkom University and the Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education Republic of Indonesia.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/APWiMob48441.2019.8964134[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
