PMMA, optically clear polymer, was combined with higher mechanical properties ZrO2-Al2O3-SiO2 (ZAS) ceramic powder to improve the flexural strength value of dental post prototype. ZAS powders, with the ratio of 60:20:20, were first prepared via sol-gel technique. Afterward, PMMA was dissolved in acetone then incorporated with ZAS powder 1% wt to gain ZAS-PMMA composite fiber using electrospinning method. Dental posts prototype were fabricated into two groups, one group contained ZAS-PMMA composite fibers and another group contain neat BisGMA, as control, with an amount of each groups samples was 10. As-prepared samples were tested by Universal Testing Machine (UTM) to evaluate the flexural strength values. The result showed ZAS-PMMA composite fiber post and neat BisGma post had mean value 68,71 Mpa and 46,37 Mpa respectively. Based on unpaired T-test analysis (p-value < 0.05), the composite fiber post is significantly higher (48.17 %) than the neat BisGMA post. ZAS-PMMA composite fiber post was potential to be used as a dental endodontic post in anterior.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=".vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}"][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title="Author keywords" size="size-sm" text_align="text-left"][vc_column_text]Composite fibers,Dental post prototype,Electrospinning method,Optically clear polymer,Sol-gel technique,Strength evaluation,T-test analysis,Universal testing machines[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=".vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}"][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title="Indexed keywords" size="size-sm" text_align="text-left"][vc_column_text]Dental post prototype,Electrospinning,ZAS-PMMA composite fiber[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=".vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}"][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title="Funding details" size="size-sm" text_align="text-left"][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=".vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}"][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title="DOI" size="size-sm" text_align="text-left"][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.4028/www.scientific.net/KEM.829.93[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
