Phytochemical study of one Indonesian Shorea species, namely Shorea leprosula has been performed. We have successfully isolated two resveratrol dimer derivatives (1) ϵ-viniferin and (2) laevifonol. The structures of these two compounds were determined mainly based on their NMR and mass spectral data. Biogenetic relationship between the two compounds and chemotaxonomical significance of compound 2 are briefly discussed in this study.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Chemotaxonomy,Dipterocarpaceae,Laevifonol,Shorea leprosula,ϵ-viniferin[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]We are very thankful to the financial support to one of us (RR) in the form of Ph.D. scholarship and Ph.D. Research Aid 2014 and 2019 respectively from the office of the Ministry of Research and Higher Education.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
