All rights reserved.Two α-pyrone compounds cryptofolione (1) and cryptofolione ketone (2) have been isolated from chloroform fraction of the leaves of Cryptocarya konishii Hayata. The structures of these compounds were determined based on the analysis of spectroscopic data including UV, IR, 1D and 2D NMR. The isolated compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxic activities against murine leukemia P-388 cells. Compound 1 was found more active than compound 2 with IC50 by 0.84 μg/mL. The antioxidant evaluation of both compounds against 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) was of very low activities (IC50 2.59×104 and 1.28×109 ppm respectively).[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Antioxidant,Cryptocarya,Cytotoxic,Pyrones[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
