In this paper, investigation of DGS utilization for characteristic enhancement of substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) bandpass filter (BPF) composed of complimentary-split-ring-resonator (CSRR) is presented. The filter is deployed on an FR4 epoxy dielectric substrate with the thickness of 1.6 mm and the dimension of 45 mm × 40 mm. The BPF which is designed by two reversely arranged CSRR incorporated on the SIW conductor surface provides passband extension at higher frequency producing the bandwidth response around 9 GHz. However, the use of CSRR also provides some unsatisfactory response at high frequency region requiring for the enhancement. By involving DGS into the BPF, the characteristic response at high frequency region could be enhanced with the bandwidth response achieves up to 10% improved.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Bandpass filter (BPF),Dielectric substrates,High frequency HF,Higher frequencies,Pass bands,Split ring resonator[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/PIERS-Spring46901.2019.9017506[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
