This system can produce electricity to reach the least developed area where grid facilities are not available. Jifak Village, Asmat Regency – Papua is one of the least developed area in Indonesia, which is lack of accessibility. This region is not covered by the electricity network yet based on 2018 data because of the limited infrastructure that causes high transportation cost. On the other side, this region has a potential renewable energy source which consistently receives high solar radiation intensity y 4.68 kWh/m2 in annual. Therefore, the pure PV system is a potential solution to providing electricity at Jifak Village, Papua. In this research, the objective is designing a pure PV system model, which will be utilized further in Jifak Village, Papua. This developed pure PV system model is featuring PV and converter module, Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) method with applied Incremental Conductance Algorithm, battery module, inverter, dan communal load system. The pure PV system is developed using MATLAB/SIMULINK program, and HOMER Pro program is used to simulating its economy side. As results, the pure PV system is feasible and suitable to be applied in Jifak Village, Papua because it has Renewable Fraction (RF) equal to 100% with a better value of LCOE (IDR 13, 557.00) and NPC (IDR 1, 265, 085, 623.00) compared to pure genset system. The results from MATLAB/SIMULINK program, energy output produced by pure PV system can fulfil 100 households in Jifak Village, Papua with 40 kWh as communal load.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]HOMER Pro,Incremental conductance algorithm,MATLAB /simulink,PV system,Renewable energies,Renewable energy source,Solar photovoltaic system,Solar radiation intensity[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]HOMER Pro,MATLAB/Simulink,modelling,MPPT,pure PV system, renewable energy[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][{‘$’: ‘Saintek Kemenristekdikti grant, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Republic of Indonesia’}, {‘$’: ‘for a part of financial support of the research through the Saintek Kemenristekdikti fundamental grant.’}][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/ICHVEPS47643.2019.9011073[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
