The attempt also emphasizes the dimension of antennas to be in compact size. In this paper, a compact printed antenna in ovoidal shape is studied to satisfy SWB bandwidth response. The proposed ovoidal printed antenna which takes a compact dimension of 40mm × 50mm is designed on a 1.57mm thick RT/duroid®5880 substrate and fed using a tapered microstrip feeding line. The characterization for reflection coefficient (S11) less than -10 dB has successfully obtained the bandwidth response in the frequency range of 2.39-100 GHz. While the bandwidth ratio of proposed antenna is higher than 41.91:1, the bandwidth percentage is greater than 193.8%, and the bandwidth dimension ratio index is more than 1508.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Bandwidth ratio,Compact dimensions,Compact size,Feeding lines,Frequency ranges,Microstripes,Super-wideband[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]This research is supported by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia under the scheme of Higher Education Excellent Basic Research (Penelitian Dasar Unggulan Perguruan Tinggi, PDUPT) FY2019–FY2020.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/PIERS-Fall48861.2019.9021736[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
