The aim of this research was to evaluate the potency of sugarcane bagasse as main carbon source and solid culture media for N.intermedia to produce bioethanol. The content of solid culture media was varied, i.e. sugarcane bagasse, soybean, and the mixture of both carbon sources media (with the ratio of bagasse: soybean = 9:1). The initial amount of spore influenced the specific growth rate of N. intermedia. The bioethanol production was influenced by the initial concentration of spore and the composition of solid media. The highest yield of bioethanol was obtained from the solid-state fermentation using the mixture of sugarcane and soybean and with 4.0 g·L-1 fresh spore solution of Neurospora sp, resulting 79% (w/w theoretical) bioethanol yielded, followed by soybean and bagasse fermentations, reaching 50% and 26.14% (w/w theoretical), respectively.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Bioethanol,Neurosporaintermedia,Solid-state culture,Soybean,Sugarcane bagasse[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
