Besides, the bottom-up method through the hydrothermal crystallization evokes safety issues due to the high autogenous pressure. Accordingly, considerable efforts have been made to develop green route synthesis of hierarchical zeolite by eliminating the use of a solvent (solvent-free), utilizing sustainable starting materials and green secondary template (mesoporogen), as well as eliminating the use of mesoporogen (mesoporogen-free). Other routes, including recycling of mother liquor, steam-assisted conversion, gel-like-solid phase method, and silanization, are also elaborated, as they are reported to promote a green and facile approach for the synthesis of hierarchical zeolites. In this review, we provide recent progress on the development of the green synthesis of hierarchically porous zeolite.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Autogenous pressure,Bottom-up and top-down,Environmental issues,Hierarchical zeolites,Hierarchically porous zeolites,Hydrothermal crystallization,Solid-phase method,Steam assisted conversions[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Green and sustainable synthesis,Hierarchical porosity,Macropores,Mesopores[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]This work is supported by Program Hibah Riset ITB 2020 through Riset KK-B scheme (No. 2H/I.1.C01/PL/2020 ) from Institut Teknologi Bandung MMI is grateful for the PMDSU scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Republic of Indonesia.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1016/j.mtchem.2020.100348[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
