The proposed filter is intended to have bandwidth response more than 8 GHz suitable for applications in wireless communication systems. The incorporation of CSRRs on the SIW surface allows the extension of passband area at the higher frequency region yielding the wideband response of filter. A 1.6 mm thick FR4 epoxy dielectric substrate with the dimension of 40\ \text{mm}\times 45\ \text{mm} is applied for filter implementation. The characterization result shows that the proposed filter has the fractional bandwidth of around 135% at the center frequency of 6.74 GHz. This result was achieved through measurement setup to demonstrate a good agreement between the simulation and experimentation.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Bandpass filter (BPF),Center frequency,Dielectric substrates,Fractional bandwidths,Higher frequencies,Measurement setup,Split ring resonator,Wireless communication system[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.23919/PIERS.2018.8598033[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
