Hence, the current controller performance gets worse when the grid is unbalanced. In this paper, a virtual inductor is proposed to suppress the effects of grid unbalances. Virtual inductor is an additional control algorithm that changes the system behavior as if there is a real inductor connected to the system. As it is virtual, we have no penalties in terms of size, efficiency, and cost. Moreover, the virtual inductor can be designed in such a way so that it gives response to selected signals only. The effectiveness of the proposed virtual inductor in suppressing the effects of grid unbalances is verified by simulated results.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Additional control,Current controller,Grid connected inverters,Grid connected inverters (GCI),inverter,Simulated results,System behaviors, virtual inductor[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]current controller, inverter, virtual inductor[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/ICPERE.2016.7904839[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
