It also provides a recommended practice for the RBUI program of existing fixed offshore platforms as an alternative to conventional time-based underwater inspection. The RBUI methodology uses a mix of qualitative and quantitative analyses. A qualitative analysis is used in the consequences of failure (CoF) factor calculation, and a quantitative analysis is used in the probability of failure (PoF) calculation. The CoF and the PoF are used to calculate the risk level that will be converted to an inspection interval using an exposure category level and an inspection interval based on the survey level. This methodology is adopted from API RP 2A-WSD and a draft of API RP 2SIM. The result of this methodology is an inspection interval plan for each platform. The result of the inspection interval is different for each platform and depends on the risk calculation of each platform. By applying this method, the inspection interval is changed from time-based to risk-based, and the inspection interval is determined based on the level of risk calculation.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Inspection,Offshore platform,Risk,Risk based inspection,Risk based underwater inspection[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
