To apply effective Human Resource Management (HRM) in construction industry in Indonesia, needed a deep understanding in characteristic of construction industry and also current condition of human resource in construction industry in Indonesia. This understanding is needed to identify the challenges faced and to determine strategy, tactics, method, and technique in HRM to be being adopted. This article aims to describe the challenge and the need facing in HRM in construction industry, based on current condition of human resource in construction industry in Indonesia.
