Hawking mass on two dimensional surfaces

In particular, the four-dimensional spacetime is taken to be static and has the form with {equation presented} where Λ is a real constant. The metric (2) describes a black hole in four dimensions carrying mass M and charge q, with R is equal to a constant Λ.
