A recent outbreak of this disease not only caused health problems, but also social and economic problems in many countries. In this paper, an SEIR (Susceptible-Exposed-Infectious-Recovery) epidemic model is proposed to describe the dynamics of HFMD transmission. The equilibrium of the HFMD epidemic model is sought, the basic reproduction number of the model is found, and the local stability of the equilibrium is analyzed via the characteristic roots of the Jacobian matrix. Then, designing the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy (T-S fuzzy) system to represent a nonlinear system of HFMD epidemic model in linear form. The stability of the T-S fuzzy system is analyzed using Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) optimization techniques. Numerical results show the usefulness of the T-S fuzzy system to gain some insight into the transmission dynamics of HFMD.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]HFMD,Linear matrix inequality,SEIR epidemic model,Takagi-sugeno fuzzy system[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1063/5.0024050[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
