Four beams with reinforcement ratio ρ-1.9% and ρ -2.5% have been tested with monotonic loading. The results showed that an increase up to 300% in concrete strain for beams with confinement on the compression zone than beams without confinement. The increase also occurred in the load capacity and the curvature of beams with confinement, while the moment capacity did not show significant improvement.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Beam ductilities,Compression zones,Concrete strain,Moment capacity,Monotonic,Monotonic loading,Reinforced concrete beams,Reinforcement ratios[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Compression zone,Confinement,Ductility,Monotonic,Strain[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Gratitude to the Ministry of Education and Culture for funding given to this research through grant competition research programs BOPTN2014, Ditlitabmas Kemendikbud.
