The antenna system is designed to have a 6 cm thickness with two-dimensional scanning capability. The system consists of eight rows of microstrip subarrays, each subarray is a 4×16-patches element microstrip. Each subarray, comprised 64 elements of patch, is fed by 50-ohm line with left-hand circular polarization (LHCP). The total bandwidth is expected to be greater than 500 MHz with 30 dBi of gain in Ku-band, while we expect greater gain of 40 dBi in Ka-band. Auto-beam steering capability is supported by an algorithm designed to determine the direction of the satellite to continuously track satellite position, even if the system is mounted on a moving and maneuvering vehicle. © 2013 IEEE.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Ka band,Ku-band,Microstripes,Mobile broadband,Satellite communications[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]auto-beam steering, circular polarization,Ka-band,Ku-band,microstrip phased-array,satellite communications,VSAT mobile broadband[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/ICoICT.2013.6574593[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
