Atrazine molecules as templates were incorporated into the pre-polymerization solution containing a functional monomer (methacrylic acid), a cross-linker (ethylene glycol dimethacrylate), and an initiator (benzoyl peroxide). The placement of a tube containing the pre-polymerization solution into a freezer was done to replace nitrogen pouring into the pre-polymerization solution. The sensing characteristic of the obtained MIP was examined and it was found that the amount of atrazine bound to the cavities in the MIP increases with increasing the initial concentration of atrazine. From Scatchard plots, it was found that the equilibrium dissociation constant KD and the apparent maximum number of binding sites Bmax, which are written as (KD, Bmax), are (6.4 μM, 13.41 mmol/g) and (6.5 μM, 4.55 mmol/g) for the 10 and 30 mg of MIP, respectively. © 2014 AIP Publishing LLC.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]cavity,Equilibrium dissociation constant,Ethylene glycol dimethacrylate,MIP,Molecularly Imprinted Polymer,Scatchard plots,Sensing characteristics,template[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]atrazine,cavity,MIP,Scatchard plot,template[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1063/1.4868763[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
