Cytotoxic activities of prenylated flavonoids from Artocarpus heterophyllus

All rights reserved.The methanol extract of the heartwood of Artocarpus heterophyllus were purified using several chromatography tehnique to give eleven flavonoid compunds: Gemichalcone A (1), gemichalcone B (2), norartocarpanone (3), artocarpanone (4), dihydromorin (5), norartocarpetin (6), artocarpesin (7),cycloartocarpesin (8), cudraflavone C (9), artocarpin (10), and cycloartocarpin (11). The structure of these compounds established by spectroscopic mean and by comparison with the literature values.
