This system consists of two devices, patient and coordinator devices. It is two-ways communication scheme. The downlink communication uses VLC, while the uplink uses infrared. It can help the doctor to monitor the patient’s condition. Moreover, VLC technology is considered to be safer and more comfortable to use. The device uses analog front-end (AFE) and processing module that includes software as the middleware layer. This software comprises MAC and PHY layers. MAC layer manages any kind of packet and transmission to PHY layer. Meanwhile, PHY layer is responsible as driver of transceiver (transmitter and receiver), error correction and data packet. Results of evaluation show the potential of the proposed system to be implemented in real life healthcare systems.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Analog front end,Communication schemes,Downlink communications,Health-care system,Middleware layer,Processing modules,Transmitter and receiver,Visible light communications (VLC)[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Analog Front-End,Healthcare Systems,Middleware Layer,Patient Monitoring,Visible Light Communication[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/TENCON.2016.7848367[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
