Standard to be used has been decided, that is DVB standard. Migration from analogue to digital and the availability of various mobile device equipments such as laptops, Cellular Phones, Tablets, etc. with communication ability pave the way for interactive Digital Mobile TV applications. Interactivity is possible to be built between content providers and users in term of on-demand download, on-demand streaming, voting, polling, etc. However, since most of the mobile devices available are not able to receive DVB signal, the widespread use of this application is not possible. In this study a testbed has been built to be used as a platform to develop a variety of interactive video applications in hybrid networks of DVB broadcast network and unicast network. The mobile devices used as receivers are any devices using Android operating system. ESG (Electronic Guide System) was used as an interface for interactivity between users and providers.
