These new devices and multimedia applications require high data rates and reduced latency to provide better Quality of Service (QoS). To address these requirements the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) introduces Long-Term Evolution (LTE) with a capability to move towards Fourth Generation (4G) wireless systems. This generation aims to produce specifications for a new radio-access technology geared to higher data rates, low latency and greater spectral efficiency. This paper provides detailed interfacing parameters and factors, which effect to implement the traffics and dimensioning of the transport layer for LTE. In this work the criterion for dimensioning is the interface s1 da x2 of LTE-EPC Network (at the packet level).[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]3rd generation partnership project (3GPP),Dimensioning,Fourth generation (4G),interfacing,Interfacing parameters,Multimedia applications,Radio access technologies,Spectral efficiencies[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Dimensioning,EPC,interfacing,LTE,QoS,S1,traffic,X2[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/TSSA.2016.7871100[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
